About Us

CHSL is a local company which draws on the vast experience of its small but dedicated team of Chartered Surveyors.

It is our mission to provide a friendly professional service to our clients. Keeping them informed at all times.

The company is run by its founder Martin Goode who has over 30 years experience in construction throughout the South of Scotland, Cumbria and Lancashire area. Working in association with similarly qualified and experienced professionals in the area.

Martin is a Building Surveyor member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and has spent the past 10 years exclusively inspecting residential properties for major banks and building societies.

CHSL Chartered Surveyors is, however, specifically designed to serve the general public and as such we pride ourselves on our friendly and flexible approach, working from home and being available outside the traditional 9am to 5pm hours that most larger companies operate.

As members of the RICS we have full professional indemnity cover and are Members of the Surveyors Ombudsman Service (www.surveyors-ombudsman.org.uk)
